MACLPlus is a hack component that enhance the Access Control List (ACL) which will allow you to create your own access levels (beside of Public, Registered, and Special) and inherited user groups and non-inherited user groups.
With this component you will be able to control which user read what (sections, categories, contents, mambots, menus, modules, polls) with the combination of your own user group and access level. Even though this is a hack component, if you would like to upgrade your Mambo version, you can uninstall it and it will restore the original Mambo system. In the installation, administrator will have to make some directory writeable to successfully install the component. Note: MACLPlus hack component is coming for each of Mambo version for example; MACLPlus v4.5.4 is ONLY for Mambo v4.5.4 Stable, etc. And registration required for download. |
