This extension is maintained by Team Mambo and is included in some distributions of the Core.
The News Feeds Component provides a way for site administrators to organize and display RSS/RDF syndicated content on your site. The Component also facilitates organization of RSS feeds by allowing for the creation of Categories to hold the various feeds. Parameters in this Component allow the administrator to: 1. control number of items appearing 2. set caching for each feed 3. control the ordering and publication of the feeds on your site By using Mambo's Menu Manager you can link into either the News Feeds items individually or to the Categories. They will be displayed in the content area of your page templates.
