The Latest Content Module is maintained by Team Mambo and is included in some distributions of the Core.
This Module enable the display of the most recently added Content Item inside a Module Position. The parameters included with this Module allow you to: 1. caching 2. selection / exclusion of types of Content Items 3. number of items to display 4. display format (horizontal or vertical) A good Module for adding variety to page layouts. (Note this Module displays the actual content of the Content Item -- not just links to the Items. if you only want links, then use the Latest News Module.)
