DOCMan is a component that allows you to manage document files and downloads on your Mambo site. It is highly configurable; you can set permission levels, show statistic (hits of each file downloaded), and sort the files by categories or subcategories.
You can upload the files directly from either the backend or the front end. Administrators also can choose between listing the files
ionFiles is a file download management component suitable for smaller websites. The component supports a limited number of categories and files. It will display in list form categories and items. To show item descriptions, the user can click the [+] button.
The component seems to be work fine with Mambo v4.5.2 but there is a minor bug for Mambo v4.5.3 – v4.6.1 in the category sel
ReMOSitory is a complete file repository system. It is fairly flexible for administrators and able to handle many kinds of files. The system includes a number of Modules which can be added to extend the functionality.
Main ReMOSitory features include:
1. RSS feeds. (In future, there will be an option to turn them off if desired.)

SOBI Download is a document management and download system for SOBI2. It allows adding an unlimited number of files to every entry. The number of allowed files for an entry, the maximum file size and the allowed extensions are adjustable in the back-end. For every uploaded file a license can be assigned which has to be confirmed if the user wants to download this file.
